Experimental Pt 2 - Eclectic
09/07/08 - Hope everyone is doing well out there. Been listening to recent tracks and also going back into my old vault of music I collected over the years. So I hope you enjoy this eclectic mix of old and new tracks...have a wonderful day wherever you are....and remember you are so BIG TIME! ;)

Aruba Nights Vol 1
04/27/08 - Some time has passed so it's time to put a new mix out here. Here's to all the people who supoort us on Tech Funk Thursdays at the Aruba Bar and Hotel. It's been a lot of fun playing out there and here's a few tracks from the show I put together as well as some new ones yet to be played. Have a good year and hope to see you all out here in Las Vegas!

Sabbatical
01/02/08 - Hello all! Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas and a good start to the new year. I didn't want everyone to wait too long so here's the new mix to start off 2008. :) I would like to thank some insipirational people that helped make this possible -- Chloe Harris, Blake Jarrell, and Hernan Cattaneo. Keep putting out the good stuff guys! It's been a pleasure to mix! Well, the mix is called Sabbatical because I'm taking some time off from doing shows in Vegas. I did 8 gigs last year and I'm taking some time off to put together a good mix for the first gig in 2008....whenever that will be. :) Enjoy the music and have a wonderful year. More to come....

Christmas EP
10/04/07 - Tis the season...so they say. Well, a little tired of hearing the usual Christmas songs....so here's a few songs to take you away from all that for 30 mins or so. Also ran into a nice Doors track that my friends used to fool around with during our numerous jam sessions. Brought back a lot of good memories. Anywho, get ready for the first mix of 2008! It will be out before you know it. Cheers! :)

Ra Sessions Vol 4
10/04/07 - Well what can I say....threw a belated birthday party at Ra. Turned out to be on the week of their 3rd year anniversary. So there was lighting and go-go girls(which made it for an interesting experience lol). Giving a shout out to Toni for the gift...it is awesome! Enjoy! :)

Ra Sessions Vol 3
10/04/07 - This mix is dedicated to all my friends who showed up and partied at my 5th appearance at Ra Sushi. It was a small crowd setting unlike the other appearances. However, it was extra special though because all of my close friends were there. Here's a shout out to Erin, Steve, and Toni! Hope to see you all together again! :)

Experimental Breaks Vol 1
9/16/07 - Here's a nice mix for you to enjoy. I decided to take a lot of my old breaks records that I've collected over the past 4 years and sprinkle a dash of some new stuff I've collected. I don't usually play breakbeats so it was a nice challenge to put this one together. This is dedicated to a few things happening in my life lately - skim milk, the 8 levels of MOWN (hope I reach level 8 one day hahaha), and 1! Happy listening. :)

RA Sessions Vol 2
9/04/07 - Wow! What a week it was last week. Barely got any sleep 2 days before the show ... was a little nervous because I hadn't played live in 3 months or so. Plus, it was my friend Nina's birthday party ... so I had a little extra pressure on myself to put out a good mix. Well from what she told me, it came out very well and it made this new mix extra special. Plus, it was the first time I had spun vinyls and CDs live. So this one is dedicated to Nina ... thanks for being such a great friend. :)

Nice Catch
8/19/07 - This mix was pretty special. Spun most of these tracks at a private pool party off the Vegas strip. I'd like to thank DJ XMS for getting me the gig. Great friend and great guy. This one's for ya...cheers!

Ra Sessions
8/19/07 - This mix was from my 3rd session at Ra Sushi. I'd like to thank Mike Remedy and Edgar Arana for having me out there. Looking forward to next week! :)

Forgive and Forget-PatPX's Combat Training with the Agents
4/8/07 - The year has flew by quickly and I realized I haven't put out a mix. I've been so busy lately. I'd like to thank David Heights for showing me the nice outro track and it looks like Agent 63 might have an ally. :) Stay tuned to the battle yet to come. You can listen to David Heights' mixes by going to my links section.

When You Go This Way
12/13/06 - This one is pretty special and I'd like to give thanks to DJ Scott Keith and the awesome UK duo Spooky for getting me some of the track IDs. :)

Alone in Paradise
It's been a long and hard year to say the least. I know it's been almost a year since I've put out a mix so it gives me great pleasure to have this one out. I'd like to thank all the people who come to the site and have patiently waited for another mix to come out. I like to give special thanks to a few people along the way ... Erin (for your beauty and for being such a nice friend in a new unknown city to me ... thanks for the inspiration!), George (my former boss and WOW,poker and DJ buddy...let's do the radio show soon!), DJ Scott Keith (thanks for finding me on MySpace), Mom and Dad (for their never-ending support), and all my friends back home in Louisiana, Texas, and now Nevada! Enjoy and I wish you all well.
Sincerely,
DJ PatPX

Master Chang The EuroCrane
This mix is dedicated to Master Chang. The best poker player on Earth!

Double Belly Buster Pt 1
Dedicated to all my poker friends out there!

Double Belly Buster Pt 2
Dedicated to all my poker friends out there!

Louisiana Hybrid
This is the latest of my mixes. Since I've been back in Louisiana, I've had the chance of meeting some really cool people. Therefore, I dedicate this mix to the friends I've made out here and the musical influences they've given me. Billy (IV Music), David Heights, Brandon, Kelly, Menne Musique and X-Treme Daquiris in Gonzales (it was fun playing out there"would love to do it again) just to name a few"... I would also like to give special thanks to Chloe Harris. Her "Oslo Nights" mix inspired me so much in terms of progressive breaks. She's a very cool person and I enjoy the conversations we've had during the time I was making this mix. Hopefully, one day, I will get a chance to open up a show for her.

J-Deuce Bringing on the Beats
First of all, this goes out to all the FTF fans that support me throughout the good and bad times. Keep them good beats coming. I would also like to thank Chris "Jesus" Ferguson. Very cool guy and it is an honor to talk with one of the great poker masters. Thanks for the nice letter in the mail as well. ;)
To Eric Seidel ... pick a time and place and we’ll DJ Battle for sure!
I’d also like to thank Wes Garratt for the first gig of the ‘05. Some of these songs were in the 2 hour mix that I spun with RType at the Pharmacy. Speaking of which, RType you rock! It was a pleasure mixing it up with you for the Dallas crowd. Keep your fingers crossed for Orlando. ;)
Also would like to thank Jake Berg. It’s always good to catch a cool cat digging our sound for the entire 2 hour set. You’re top notch! :) :) :)
Finally, this last shout out goes to Woody. That house cat is at every cool party I go to spinning his mad tunes. Good luck to you man! You had me wanting to dance till sunrise.

2nd Radio Show - Myriad Middays
Lightning can sometimes strike twice. And in this case, I was the lucky recipient. DJ Crimson wanted to have me out for another guest spot and I was happy to oblige. This day was really cool".I got a chance to play on the internet radio show again and watch Crimson spin some sick mixes. His DJ ability skyrocketed since the last time I played with him (and he was definitely no slouch to begin with). Then, I had a chance to see Danny Howells live at Club Seven in Dallas. He signed one of the tracks that he used to play in his earlier days (which is on this mix). Very nice guy and a blast of a weekend!

Last Dallas Promo
This is one of my off-the-cuff mixes I put together a week before I moved to Louisiana. It is unlike the rest because it's a mellow progressive mix. These records were bought from Wes Lee's (former owner of Techsun Records) garage which I dubbed "WesSun". At the time, Techsun just went out of business and Wes just happened to have all the progressive section from the store. Techsun Records was and probably still is the best record store I've shopped for records. Great deal on the records too".but that's another story.

1st Radio Show - Myriad Middays
I was very fortunate to play at R-Type Records in Fort Worth for DJ Crimson's Myriad Middays Internet Radio Show on www.vinylbeats.com. DJ Crimson is one of the most intellectual, hard-working DJs that I've seen in my time. So it was a definite honor to be a guest on his show. He has taught me a lot about DJing and life in general. At the moment, he is currently a resident DJ for Divan Lounge in Dallas and has a great following for his weeklies out there. I would also like to thank Jason (the owner of R-Type Records) for playing out there and Nicole (for just being the cool DJ promoter that she is). I remember Jason telling me that day he had the most people he saw in his store on a Saturday (lucky me). He is a great guy and I'm looking forward to hanging out in Dallas with all the people at R-Type again. The highlight of that day was when a guy came up to me and asked what record I was playing. I told him and 5 minutes later he was buying the record. Very good feeling. :)

Erick Phillips and PatPX
Well I can't say enough about this guy. Erick and I have been friends for a while now and we both share a love for the progressive sound. :) This mix came about one day at my apartment when Erick said "Are we ever going to record a set together?". So I said "sure"".from that moment on, the mix just fell into our laps about an hour later. This mix has good chemistry written all over it and it's the raw, unedited aspect of our mix that makes it extra special . Hopefully, Erick and I will put out another mix in the near future (especially since I have more progressive breaks now).

Summer 2003
Summer 2003 was an awesome time! It all started out with getting a monthly gig at Jack's Pub in Dallas. We ended up calling it the "Café Mambo Sessions". My very first show was June 14th and I had a great crew back me up for 5 shows. "Summer 2003" (the mix) is one of the mixes I did at Jack's Pub during this time period. I dedicate this mix to all the help and support during this time to make my dream of playing shows possible. People that should be recognized: Wes Fisher (Wes Lee), R-Type, Nerio, Kenan, Special J, Mic DC, DJ Valkor, DJ Leigh, The Thin Men, DJ NTrain, Sergio Compean, and Erick Phillips. And of course, big props to Jay Winborn at Club Seven for giving me a chance to play out at Club Seven in Dallas during this time.
